Withdrawal from a voucher purchase

For vouchers purchased online, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal (Section 355 of the German Civil Code (BGB)), provided the voucher has not already been redeemed. Within this period, you may cancel the purchase without giving any reason. You can do this very easily, for example, by email or using our withdrawal form below.

Information on submitting the voucher withdrawal form

Once submitted, the cancellation request will be sent to Südsee-Camp.
A copy of the message will be sent automatically to the email address provided in the form. Neither the submission of the request nor the receipt of the copy constitutes confirmation of the withdrawal or entitles you to a refund.
The request will be carefully reviewed on the basis of the information provided. Our reception team will then get back to you.

Consequences of withdrawing the voucher

What happens after a voucher is revoked?

Once we have received your withdrawal, we will first check whether the conditions for a valid withdrawal have been fulfilled – for example, whether the 14-day period has been observed and the voucher has not yet been redeemed, etc.

If the withdrawal is valid, the following applies: The voucher purchase will be reversed.

  • The voucher code will be deactivated: Following cancellation, the voucher code is no longer valid and cannot be used.
  • You will receive a refund: We will refund the full purchase amount via the same payment method used for the purchase (e.g. credit card or PayPal) – unless a different refund method has been agreed. You will not incur any additional costs.

What applies to my holiday booking?

For a holiday at Südsee-Camp booked online, there is no right of withdrawal. This is stipulated by law, as your booking is tied to a fixed travel period (Section 312g(2)(9) of the German Civil Code (BGB)).

Cancelling or rebooking your holiday?

If you nevertheless wish to, or need to, change, rebook or cancel your booking, this is of course still possible with us – please contact our reception in writing to do so. Depending on the administrative effort involved and the timing, costs may apply. You can find all the details in our Terms and Conditions.
