We make sure that your family holiday in the Lüneburg Heath (northern Germany) is comfortable, relaxing and unforgettable for parents and children. With us, children have lots of opportunities to play and make friends outside the caravan or rental property.

Holidays with children - not just for the little ones

Our entertainment programme is aimed at children, teenagers and adults alike. During the high season, we offer different programmes for different age groups and joint family activities, usually 6 days a week. 

There are arts and crafts, dancing at the mini disco, sports and games to test your skills and learn new ones. Our family events, including campfire evenings (baking stick bread) with various activities or performing musicians, teen get-togethers, cinema afternoons and disco evenings as well as seasonal annual highlight events at Südsee-Camp, some of which only take place once or twice a year, are special highlights of your holiday with children at Südsee-Camp. 

If you like cycling, you can explore the campsite and the surrounding area on your own or on a guided adventure bike tour to an excursion destination with our entertainment team. You can also hire bikes and pedal go-karts directly at the campsite. The cycle cross track and the many playgrounds and sports fields are very popular with many kids!

Those who prefer less action-packed activities can simply meet up with their peers on the beach or make new friends at an event.

Südsee-Camp is open all year round

We pay particular attention to the holiday periods as well as possible public holidays and bridging days. In the low season there is a smaller family programme on fewer days. We always publish the entertainment programme for our holiday guests shortly beforehand.

Südsee-Camp: campsite and holiday resort

Our most popular leisure facilities include the Südsee-Badeparadies (fun pool with wave pool), the Piratennest indoor playground with bistro, fitness room and multi-purpose rooms and the Südsee-Camp riding centre (family-friendly leisure activities centred around our ponies). Jungle golf, climbing adventures in our high ropes course or trampolining with a view of the lake offer additional leisure activities from Easter until the end of October.

The leisure facilities at Südsee-Camp are not included in the price. This allows families to decide for themselves whether and how often they would like to use them - without having to pay a high flat rate as part of the holiday price. Südsee-Camp guests receive discounted admission to our leisure facilities on site.

The swimming lake and beach, use of the playgrounds, sports facilities, table tennis tables, volleyball courts, the cross-country cycling and skating track and participation in the events and entertainment programme (with a few exceptions: material fees may apply, see note on the respective programme item) are already included for our guests and ensure a great and varied holiday with children in themselves.     

Holidays with children - arrive and relax

Of course, adults don't miss out on a camping holiday with children at Südsee-Camp. They have the opportunity to relax in their motorhome, caravan or rental property or relax on the beach while the children run around. With us, you will find a colourful variety for adults and children, where distant destinations or expensive hotels cannot compete with.

Südsee-Camp is a particularly child-friendly campsite for families. If you count your dog, cat, bird etc. as family members too, you may not want to go without your pet's company on holiday.

With only a few exceptions and restrictions, dogs and pets are very welcome at Südsee-Camp.

Please register all pets travelling with you at our reception - dogs are subject to a charge. For holidays with your own horse, we offer guest boxes on our riding stables on request.

Restrictions apply, for example, to our rental accommodation and in certain camping pitch areas. The playgrounds, sanitary buildings and our bathing lake & beach are exclusively for our human guests; for dogs we have a large dog playground where dogs can run around off the lead and play with other dogs.
