Dear self-builders,

Together with the editorial teams of the magazines "Reisemobil international" and "Camping, Cars & Caravans", with whom we jointly organise the SAT, we have decided that it will not take place in 2023 either.

For 2024 nothing has been decided yet and there are different considerations about this. If there is any news, we will inform you in time!

We ask you to respect our decision and are looking forward to welcoming you and your families to Südsee-Camp!
Because that's what it's all about for us? ...to get together with our loved ones, friends, relatives and (new) acquaintances and spend a great holiday!

Every year one of the biggest motor caravan gatherings takes place on the Südsee-Camp. This event is organized in corporation with the editorial staff of the magazines “Reisemobil international” and “Camping, Cars & Caravans”.

The participants come from Germany and other European countries. Many of the participating vehicles are self-made. You will find all kinds of recreational vehicles, from converted buses and furniture transporters to self-built caravans. But not only private vehicles are represented, but also many exhibitors for technology, tuning and accessories, all about the extension and equipment of a motorhome or caravan.

On Saturday there is a flea market, many participants will spread out articles of all kinds in front of their vehicles. The editorial offices will be offering various workshops and information events on the subject of self-building. At the same time, interesting multimedia lectures about travelling with a motorhome will be running. If they wish, the children can spend the day with the animators of the Südsee-Camp with a colourful programme.
