Every year in October one of the biggest motor caravan gatherings takes place on the Südsee-Camp. This event is organized in corporation with the editorial staff of the magazines “Reisemobil international” and “Camping, Cars & Caravans”.

The participants come from Germany and other European countries. Most of these motor caravans were rebuilt either inside or outside by their owners. Old busses, transporters, post cars and caravans are in part or completely reconstructed by hard work.

 
Motor home users with standard vehicles visit this event to get information about the possible remodelling of the vehicles. A lot of companies present their products and give information about rebuilding.

Most of the members sell different components for vehicles in front of their motor caravans. The editorial staff organizes workshops and presentations about (motor) caravan-rebuilding. Picture documentations are presented about trips in motor caravans to different nations and continents.

The children have fun at the events that are offered by our recreation-team.

If there is a trailer with the motor home or omnibus, the trailer must also be registered.

• You need a reservation prior to the event in order to participate with your motor caravan.
• The event is also open for day visitors without recreational vehicle.
